SOLANA HILLS
This young family wanted a more modern clean design that maximized their usable space. They also wanted to figure out a way to cover the "ugly" retaining wall. A new clean concrete patio opened up the lower area with built in benches for a future fire pit. We turned the wall into an accent feature by covering it with cedar and adding decorative panels that are uplit at night. The upper slope has blueberry, strawberry and citrus planted along the winding DG pathway which gives way to an ocean view from the top.

ENCINITAS FRONT
It was time for the lawn to go. The homeowner wanted a watersaving landscape that had a more direct entry to the front door, drought tollerant plants, with a modern clean design. Large entry steps with accent cutouts create an inviting walk to the front door. Olives, kangaroo paw and coastal rosemary combined with DG and accent boulders give a finish off the modern mediterranean style.

MODERN CARMEL
This Carmel Valley home got some new curb appeal with an expanded driveway, open entry walkway and an accent planter leading to the front door. Smooth white stucco walls and slate grey pavers are accented by Del Rio pebbles and drought tolerant low maintenance plants.
